The most widely recognized professional appraisal designations in Canada are the AACI and CRA.

 AACI (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute) designates fully accredited membership in the Institute and indicates competence in a wide range of real estate appraisal.  CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) indicates competence in appraisal and valuation of individual undeveloped residential sites and dwellings of not more than three units.

 

Nyal Hope holds an AACI designation Certificate #3881, is a member of the International Right-of-way Association and has an MIMA designation with the Institute of Municipal Assessors. Other professional associations: Professional Land Economist with the Association of Professional Land Economists, Certificate #819.
